Chiharu Shinoda with Mai Nakabayashi
“Four Chances for Drama” was created in 2014 as part of a performance series. This piece works as trial performance which explores the idea and concept of drama from the perspectives of body, score, sketch and text as abstract meaning to be interpreted from the original one.
Mai Nakabayashi learned a dance of cat in Bangkok, Nang Lerng. Her technique based on ballet, so she tried to transform her body into Thai dance. Mai shows the process of learning by teacher’s body to her body without oral communication.
