Children Street Art: Mon Lek Mak
The Nang Loeng Children's Street Art Project aims to honor local traditions and artifacts, including those from the Dance House (Ban Ten Rum), Chatree Drama, Ban Lam Tad, Ban Klong Yao, Nangloeng Art House, Luang Pu Thuop, sacred objects from Wat Kae Nang Loeng or Wat Sunthon Thammathan, which serves as the community's mental center, the creation of a traditional mask, tailoring a drama costume, as well as a variety of delicious food in Nangloeng market.
Aside from an art performance by Butoh artist together with youngsters from the community to express their ideas by writing a letter to the angels (or a message to the skies), this event is worth paying attention to. Additionally, there is a screening of the documentary film, "Got Will Die for Sure: The Story of Kluay Khaek and Slum Kids," which was created by young people from the Nang Loeng community.
Children are now more socially acceptable thanks to the effects of this exercise. This is largely due to the way that children connect with one another, which encourages them to think and act in ways that help them understand the world, appreciate the people around them, and realize their own value. Family members began communicating and understanding one another better, which is beginning to lessen issues that had previously emerged.
