"Flea Market"

Chiharu Shinoda

Japanese artist Chiharu Shinoda's Flea Market of Happiness.
We're here to improve what you have, youngsters. We're not from the Hogwarts School of Magic. We are not here to make your plastic robots move, speak, or do anything else like that; rather, we are here to trade and alter what you don't have into what you do have. Whatever your dreams, fantasies, memories, or happiness may be, they are all yours. Do you recall when you felt joy? The joy you experience when you witness your parents laughing or having a good time with friends while watching cartoons together What you have is that. Things that cash cannot purchase. Therefore, let's share our joy and smiles with one another. Ah, smile, smile, yes, that's correct, that grin truly belongs to kids like you. This occasion has been planned especially for kids of all ages. We cordially invite everyone who adores Nang Loeng to congregate at this market of joy.

Since the time of King Rama V and the residents of Bangkok, the Nang Loeng neighborhood has a lengthy history. The older generation will likely recollect their experiences visiting this crowded theater to watch movies. With the support of many supporters, the Nang Loeng community is actively reviving the beauty of its culture and reestablishing the community as Nang Loeng once more.

Together, a short film competition project called "From Khok E Rang to Thung Ma Moen" and several cultural events for teenagers make up another intriguing effort that aims to foster the potential of these kids to grow into respectable adults in the future. as we are strangers in this neighborhood. By planning a workshop for kids, community members, and everyone, our main goal is to promote community healing while fostering love and pride in being Nang Loeng people. We would like to promote and invite brothers and sisters to meet together to make art that is enjoyable and expresses their beauty.
